He has done it again! Caspian was deamed "Best Philippine Born, just this morning, we were not able to witness Caspian's show but his loving owner Mr. Ogee Cruz together with his Son was with him all the way.
Twice in a row, He gained wonderful merits, even competed head to head with Edge, his cousin.
We do look forward to Caspian's next winning event, and hopefully, the shy points needed in order to one day become a Pbilippine Champion will grace Caspian and His Proud onwer Sir Ogee.
Again, Caspian, WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!

Caspian's Dog Show Debut
March 14, 2009, Tiendesitas, Hosted by AKCUPI and
Am. Cocker Spaniel Kennel Club of the Phils.

Last Saturday was very Exciting, our family went to see Caspian do his first ever Show in Tiendesitas, where in local Judges like the President and CEO of AKCUPI, Mr. Bernie Jalandoni Repalbor and a Foreign judge, Am. Kennel Club Judge Ms. Pluis Davern, did all the fine critique and judging of which dog deserves the title.

The Show was hosted by none other than Mr. Erwin Alegado, presenting with great finess the dogs upon each category and making the show a success.
Our bet, Caspian, is a Chocolate Labrador Retriever directly descended from Ashway Ridge Rodan aka Danny, Caspian, under the meticulous care of our friend Mr. Ogee Cruz, made center stage on the event competing against very prestigious fellow labradors, his blood relatives, also son's of Danny, the dogs were Edge, Hondo and Calel.
He won best puppy, thanks to his looks and stature, still the Danny blood reigns great. He came in 2nd Place after competing neck to neck with Hondo, his uncle, and Calel, also his uncle.
Other important people also where there like Mr. Henry Babiera, Co-owner of Tiendesitas, no.1 single dog owner in the philippines having 700 dogs in his kennel, owner of top bred terriers, toy dogs, and not sporting dogs in the country. Also the show was supported by Mr. Nelson Uy and his son, Corporate Sect. of AKCUPI, Mr. John Irvin Uy, both father and son known for their excellent pomeranians and chihuahuas.
Owner of Exemplar Kennel Mr. Primo Co was also there to pledge his support for AKCUPI.
It was quite an experience for our family, and Caspian's family, his owners children and relatives were there to show their support for their dog.
It sure was a very memorable show at Tiendesitas, looking forward to the next one on March 21, 28 and 29!

Notes from the Admin: We wish to help neglected dogs, or puppies out there, especially labradors. We wish to help them find good owners. There are not alot of purebred labs out there who are up for free adoption, I've seen very old labradors still being displayed in the market. I feel for those dogs. If anyone knows about dogs taken for granted, please contact us.
